(Before It's News)

Apparently this is some old news yet I had never heard of this before.

Amanpour and Rubin

Amanpour and Rubin

Christiane Amanpour is a British-Iranian “journalist” who works for the Clinton News Network. Her husband is James Rubin, who served as US Assistant Secretary of State for Public Affairs in the Clinton Administration from 1997—2000.

The other night I was reading Newsbusters and they had a post on Amanpour. She was whining about the “exceptionally high bar” the media set for Hillary Clinton. Excerpts from the Newsbusters post:

“First, like many people watching where I was overseas, I admit I was shocked by the exceptionally high bar put before one candidate and the exceptionally low bar put before the other candidate.

I learned long ago, covering the ethnic cleansing and genocide in Bosnia, never to equate victim with aggressor, never to create a false moral or factual equivalence, because then you are an accomplice to the most unspeakable crimes and consequences.

I believe in being truthful, not neutral. And I believe we must stop banalizing the truth.”

Blah, blah, blah. This Clinton propagandist wouldn’t know truth if it slapped her in the face.

Anyhow, “vendome” left a comment on this Newsbusters post. Vendome stated the following:

“I watched an interview of Amanpour about a year ago. She was in her dining room at her home – and showed the viewer her favorite painting. This painting was of the Twin Towers burning on 911. Amanpour exposed herself. She hates America. Picture of the Twin Towers painting in her dining room:”

From a New York Times article on February 11, 2010 in which they interviewed Amanpour and had her standing in front of this picture in her dining room:

Favorite Item in the Apartment: A massive painting that I got in Iran, a few years ago, by Farideh Lashai, a friend who is also Iran’s pre-eminent abstract-expressionist painter. It gives me joy every time I walk in my door.

The artist, Farideh Lashai, was an Iranian painter who died in 2013. From Wikipedia: She was born in Rasht, Iran. She was also a writer and translator. She is renowned for her abstract contemporary paintings, which are a combination of traditional and contemporary views of nature.

Some of Lashai’s other works:

Do you think any of these paintings are of the Twin Towers burning on 9/11? Sure looks like it could be interpreted that way.
