Moonbats Bark Their Praise of Dead Tyrant Fidel Castro

The long-awaited death of communist tyrant Fidel Castro provides an opportunity to distinguish moonbats who are merely misguided from those who are genuinely evil and/or insane; the latter group is actually praising the fiend who confiscated the wealth of an entire country, murdered thousands for not liking it, threw many thousands more in prison or drove them abroad, and reduced a country that was moderately well off even by European standards to a miserably poor slave state.

Alarmingly, one of these worst-of-the-worst moonbats is a head of state. Justin Trudeau weeps in his “deep sorrow” upon the tyrant’s demise:

Fidel Castro was a larger than life leader who served his people for almost half a century. A legendary revolutionary and orator, Mr. Castro made significant improvements to the education and healthcare of his island nation.

While a controversial figure, both Mr. Castro’s supporters and detractors recognized his tremendous dedication and love for the Cuban people who had a deep and lasting affection for “el Comandante”.

Controversial? He imposed hell on an entire country for half a century. The only controversy here is that hardcore leftists think this is a good thing and would like more of it, whereas everyone else rightly regards Castro as a monster.

Sniffles Trudeau,

We join the people of Cuba today in mourning the loss of this remarkable leader.

I doubt there is much mourning going on at Combinado del Este, or any of the other prisons that are emblematic of the Castro Bros., including the greater prison of communist Cuba itself.

Twitter responds to Trudeau’s moonbattery:

Even fellow traveler Trudeau can be topped for moonbattery — but only by a communist tyrant wannabe, Jill Stein, who was promptly chastened by the esteemed countermoonbat Katie Pavlich:

Geraldo Rivera, while acknowledging that “communism stinks,” nonetheless outrageously proclaimed that Castro “will be remembered fondly” by the people he enslaved.

Britain’s Labor Party has gone off the deep end, allowing itself to be marginalized to the lunatic fringe by the mad dog socialist Jeremy Corbyn, who has been bleating that Castro was a “champion of social justice.”

United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moonbat concurs:

Remember these people. Anyone who supports what Fidel Castro did to the Cuban people would support another tyrant doing it to you.
