Space and time do not permit covering all the hate hoaxes inspired by the recent election, but let’s give it a try anyway, shall we? This one is from Williams College in Williamstown, Massachusetts:
On [November 12], two students vandalized Griffin Hall to bring attention to the potential impact of the presidential election on campus.
The students poured a red wood-stain substance resembling blood down the main stairwell of Griffin Hall and wrote “AMKKK KILL” in the stairwell. In addition, the perpetrators splattered the stain substance around the lobby outside of Griffin 3.
According to President Adam Falk, AMKKK is a reference to racism in American society.
Assuming the actual intent was to terrorize other students by providing phony evidence in support of the fictional epidemic of potentially violent racism by white supremacists, the unnamed students have earned their place on the Hate Hoax List. They knew better than to wait for real KKK supporters to vandalize their campus.
