(Before It's News)

Researchers in CA have found that human plasma from young people has a rejuvenation effect in mice. TheSun.

Using donations from 18 year-olds, the researchers gave middle-aged mice two doses of human blood each week and monitored the reactions.

Prior to the treatment, the mice aged as standard – showing reduced speed and diminished memory.

But, following three weeks of the transfusions, that all changed – with the rodents developing new brain cells and exhibiting greater speed, agility and reaction times.

The study’s author, Sakura Minami, said that her team had seen a “rejuvenation effect” on the mice – something which held promise for a possible human treatment, particularly for those suffering from Alzheimer’s disease.

This story gives me the creeps. It’s like the worst kind of science fiction theme coming to life. After all, how many movies have been made where the mad doctor uses blood or other stuff from young victim subjects to aid some old rich guy or the privileged in society. When I read this I was immediately envisioning youth plasma mills to the benefit of the rich and famous. And knowing there are people in this world that do not hesitate to kill babies and use their parts, I think plasma mills are well within the realm of possibility. All in all, I do not like this story Sam I am.
