1966 Bob Dylan and his rock n’ roll band in Paris.

The audience was hostile from the get go. They had an attitude about America…that we were a bunch of fascist warmongers. They opened the second half with the biggest American flag that Bob could find in Paris. The audience didn’t get the joke at all. Thanks to Ann Althouse, we have a bit of history to think about here.
