There are reports that president-elect Donald Trump might make Texas senator Ted Cruz U.S. attorney general in his administration.
The former 2016 presidential candidate was seen entering Trump’s Manhattan business headquarters earlier on Tuesday. This might indicate the two are in talks about him joining the president’s cabinet.
According to the Washington Examiner, Cruz’s spokeswoman Catherine Frazier said her boss visited Trump in New York
“to offer help in promoting the conservative policies that were campaigned on and that he’s long fought for.”
Initially New York mayor Rudy Guiliani had been discussed as a potential attorney general, but now it is said he might be secretary of state.
