Blind Opera Singer Andrea Bocelli Backs Out of Inauguration After Receiving Death Threats

Some entertainers have refused to participate in the inauguration because they are moonbats who put their self-indulgent leftist posturing ahead of their profession — others, because they are afraid:

Opera star Andrea Bocelli backed out of singing at Donald Trump’s inauguration after receiving death threats, The Mail on Sunday has learnt.

It was rumored that Bocelli backed out because he didn’t want to face a boycott from intolerant liberal fans…

But a source said the 58-year-old had been determined to ‘press ahead’ and sing but had pulled out on the advice of his security team after receiving threats to his life.

A source close to Bocelli, a friend of Trump’s, said: ‘Andrea is very sad to be missing the chance to sing at such a huge global event but he has been advised it is simply not worth the risk.’

Bocelli isn’t alone:

The revelation came as another singer – Broadway legend Jennifer Holliday – last night pulled out of the President-elect’s festivities after being threatened and branded an ‘Uncle Tom’. …

Singer Holliday, 56, famed for her performance as Effie in Dreamgirls, had originally said she was ‘determined’ to sing for Trump despite voting against him.

She also denounced the abuse she was getting and called it an attack on freedom of speech.

However, she knuckled under to this attack, not only canceling her performance but validating the thugs who forced her to.

However, [Friday] night she said that she had not realised her participation in the inauguration show would be interpreted as support for the President-elect.

Holliday, who has performed for the Clintons, both George W Bush and his father, and the Reagans, issued a statement apologising to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender fans for being ‘uneducated’ on the issues.

Here’s a little education on the LGBT issue. Trump does not oppose the homosexual/transsexual agenda. He announced that Bruce Jenner is welcome to use the ladies’ room at Trump Tower. During the campaign, he wrapped himself in the rainbow flag of homosexual militancy:

But I’m forgetting; as the 1960s radicals used to say, the issue is never the issue — the issue is always the revolution. That is, the issue is cranking the ratchet leftward as forcefully as possible. Trump is seen as impeding this objective; therefore, singing at his inauguration is “homophobic.”

If liberals get any more intolerant, the country will split apart at the seams. But that would be better than caving in to them.
