Breitbart Influence at Trump White House Grows With 2 New News Outlet Hires

Stephen Bannon, who was hired by President Donald Trump to serve as his chief strategist at the White House, has hired two of his former Breitbart employees to join him in the high office – Julia Hahn and Sebastian Gorka.

Bannon served as Breitbart’s chairman prior to being selected by Trump for the White House role.

“The hires give Bannon more loyalists in Trump’s West Wing, and also raise Breitbart’s profile and power.

“It comes as the conservative news organization, led by Bannon until last year, seeks to expand its influence in Washington and the world. …

“Hahn, is expected to join the White House as an aide to Bannon. Breitbart’s national security editor, Sebastian Gorka, will also relocate to the White House, likely with a spot on the president’s National Security Council, Business Insider reported on Tuesday.”

Hahn is reportedly favored by Stephen Miller, who serves as Trump’s senior adviser for policy. She once worked for conservative radio firebrand Laura Ingraham, and helped with the messaging and strategy to oust former House Majority Leader Eric Cantor from his legislative spot and bring in political newbie, Dave Brat, to Congress. Rep. Brat’s win was a huge boost to the tea party movement, and sent shockwaves throughout the political world.

Hahn’s hire is likely to shake Rep. Paul Ryan a bit. The House speaker has been in Hahn’s crosshairs at Breitbart for his perceived too-close ties to several key Democrats, including Hillary Clinton – and now she’s taking up a spot within Trump’s inner circle.
