http://google.com/safebrowsing/diagnostic?tpl=safari&site=theblacksphere.net&hl=en-us The war between the media and Trump began when Trump declared his presidency.
At that moment, Trump went from reality show icon, and billionaire businessman to pariah.
But as they say around the way, “Trump don’t play.” He dares to fight back; and frankly Trump wins.
Check out the exchange Trump had with Jim Acosta of CNN at his press conference.
Trump attacked CNN for disseminating “fake news,” as the media outlet broke the story that both Obama and the he had been briefed on allegations that Russia has “compromising personal and financial information” regarding Trump.
Trump then explained how CNN had mistaken the identity of a person who traveled to Russia. The person involved had nothing to do with the Trump organization.
As Trump waned on that aspect of the media malpractice, he began to take questions. This escalated into a shouting match with CNN’s Jim Acosta.
Trump wouldn’t acknowledge Acosta, who was trying to ask him a question. Trump instead pointed to another reporter and refused to take questions from Acosta.
Acosta asked during a Q&A portion of the presser,
“Since you’re attacking us, can you give us a question?”
“Not you, not you, your organization is terrible…I am not going to give you a question…You are fake news.”
Frankly, many Americans can now see the president-elect’s point. The witch hunt by the media continues. One would think they had learned their lesson, however it seems they are going all in.
I suspect that Trump will not let up, and frankly I’d put my money on Trump’s talent for keeping the media off kilter. After all, they are in the business of selling news, and Trump creates news. He can take his product anywhere in the market, and that no longer has to be the lamestream media.
Once these media outlet bleed enough red ink, they may begin to see things differently. One thing is for sure. This “correction” to right the media is, as they say in the stock market, long overdue.
