As we count down to the long-awaited end of the Obama Administration, the suspense builds. Who will the Moonbat Messiah pardon at the last moment, before fading into obscurity?
Even if he doesn’t go berserk pardoning terrorists, corrupt cronies, and lowlife criminals of every description like Slick Willie Clinton did on his last day in office, Obama is unlikely to pass up one last chance to poke regular Americans in the eye. A likely choice:
Chelsea Manning, the army soldier who leaked state secrets in 2010 and has been imprisoned longer than any other official leaker in US history, has called on President Obama to show [him] clemency in the final days of his presidency, saying that this amounts to [his] last chance for freedom “for a very long time”.
Let’s hope so. Bradley Manning committed treason on a large scale by leaking hundreds of thousands of restricted documents, potentially risking many American lives, before declaring that he is a woman named Chelsea.
Bad enough that taxpayers have to finance his sex change operation. In any sane time, Manning would have been unceremoniously executed years ago.
Manning is reportedly on Obama’s “shortlist” for a commutation of [his] sentence, according to NBC News.
Naturally, the ACLU loves the idea.
Chase Strangio, the ACLU lawyer who is representing Manning in a transgender rights lawsuit, said releasing [him] would secure Obama’s legacy of “standing up for trans people’s rights”.
Chase Strangio. A name like that gives me hope that none of this is real, and I am living in a dystopian black comedy.
