Hat tip Legal Insurrection

If you want to know why college tuition is so high these days, here is one reason. UC Berkeley, site of a recent riot, spends $20 million a year on a safe space for something called the Division of Equity and Inclusion.

And Berkeley is not alone. These departments exists on most if not all campuses these days. At UC Irvine there is the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. Or perhaps it is Equity, Diversity and Inclusion. Who know?. They are all dedicated to the proposition that minority or gay students are victims who need “safe spaces” from those racist and privileged white students who might offend them by asking where they are from. Those are called micro-aggressions. This is the direction that higher education is headed.

If our enemies wanted to create an American society filled with sniveling little cupcakes who will hide in a safe space when threats come a calling, they couldn’t have done a better job. If they wanted to divide Americans along tribal lines, they couldn’t have done a better job.
