http://google.com/safebrowsing/diagnostic?tpl=safari&site=theblacksphere.net&hl=en-us After Defying Trump Starbucks Loses 24 Percent of Brand Value These corporations who succumb to political correctness and try to socially engineer the world may finally suffering.

Starbucks race pimp CEO Howard SchultzIt happened to Target, Macy’s, and now it’s hitting Starbucks.

In spite of massive profits on the most used drug in the world, Starbucks has finally taken a well-deserved hit.

Recently, Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz took a stance in defiance of Trump’s immigration executive order. He offered a message where he vowed to hire 10,000 refugees over the next 5 years. His catchphrase was “build bridges, not walls, with Mexico”.  Here is part of Schult’z political message:

I write to you today with deep concern, a heavy heart and a resolute promise. Let me begin with the news that is immediately in front of us: we have all been witness to the confusion, surprise and opposition to the Executive Order that President Trump issued on Friday, effectively banning people from several predominantly Muslim countries from entering the United States, including refugees fleeing wars. I can assure you that our Partner Resources team has been in direct contact with the partners who are impacted by this immigration ban, and we are doing everything possible to support and help them to navigate through this confusing period.

As you can imagine, the president of a coffee company knows much about national security as it relates to immigration. So in defiance of the president of the United States, the president of a coffee company declared:

Hiring Refugees: We have a long history of hiring young people looking for opportunities and a pathway to a new life around the world. This is why we are doubling down on this commitment by working with our equity market employees as well as joint venture and licensed market partners in a concerted effort to welcome and seek opportunities for those fleeing war, violence, persecution and discrimination.  There are more than 65 million citizens of the world recognized as refugees by the United Nations, and we are developing plans to hire 10,000 of them over five years in the 75 countries around the world where Starbucks does business.

According to Zero Hedge, Schultz’s attempt to socially engineer America backfired:

trump-signing-legislationUnfortunately, Schultz quickly found out the hard way that while most adult-aged Americans can agree that they like coffee, roughly 50% disagree with his leftist political opinions. Which, according to Yahoo Finance, has sent the company’s “brand perception” into a downward spiral since January 29th.

The coffee giant’s consumer perception levels have fallen by two-thirds since late January, according to YouGov BrandIndex.

The perception tracker measures if respondents have “heard anything about the brand in the last two weeks, through advertising, news or word of mouth, was it positive or negative.” In Starbucks’ case, perception is still overall positive, but significantly lower than it was prior to CEO Howard Schultz published a public letter outlining the company’s plans to give refugees jobs.

YouGov says that there’s reason to believe backlash will impact the chain’s bottom line. Two days before Starbucks’ announcement, 30% of consumers said they’d consider buying from Starbucks the next time they were craving coffee, the highest proportion in nearly a year. Now, the percentage is down to 24%, according to YouGov.

I have little doubt that Schultz’s bonehead move will negatively impact the company’s bottom line. We can only hope so. I for one have started looking for other coffee sources, though many of those shops are Leftist owned as well. At least they can’t make massive social engineering declarations.

  • Good!

  • It couldn’t happen to a nicer dirtbag. That progressive liberal, and his whole company, can shove his latte’s up where the sun don’t shine.

  • Not Good Enough !!! They need to lose a HUNDRED AND ONE per cent of their perceived “Value”and a THOUSAND per cent of their WAY to big market share immediately !!! Their coffee ISN’T really all THAT good anyway compared to a number of their competitors and the service and attitude of a lot of their employees isn’t so good either !!! If their “Beloved Fearless Leader” really believes in Socialism so MUCH then he should pull his progressively liberal demoncratic head out of his ass and put his money where is mouth is and change his business model by giving away his coffee etc. for FREE to the masses and if his employees believe in him and his ideology so much then I’m sure that THEY won’t mind working for “Free” as well , Right ???!!!

  • I never understood why fools would pay 3 times for one cup of coffee to begin with.
I get better coffee at places like White Castle and Speedway.

One thing for sure, I hope they go out of business.
All business here that are not nationalists and who are against America and our laws should not be in business.

  • I don’t how anyone drinks that s#$t. I tried it to see what the hoopla was about. I got a small coffee for 3.50. After tasting, I threw it out. It must be some sort of prestige. I am still drinking “Tim Hortons!”

  • the very best coffee is fair exchange. now if we could only get them to sell bulk. because aroma and all the rest just don’t cut it. people don’t want to pay for fancy packaging. we already know you are the best. we don’t need a wrap or bag to display it. you can put that on your bulk’s top shelf. nor do we need these products to be handled by a jew middleman who quadruples the price before he even sells it to the grocery stores. same goes for all herbs, spices and plant medicines brought in. all produce. the grower still makes pennies, while the middleman makes millions. i see it all day long in the herbal store i work for. so what good was fair trade if america and her chosen ones are marking it up by 200 and 300%. no wonder brazil is tanking. fair trade is meant to tank them. fair trade was created for the chosen ones. there is no fair trade. the man or woman in south america is still being paid pennies on the dollar. that’s why i want the china silk road to come to america. a straight path. with no middlemen.

    • They could sell their mudwater for 50 cents a cup and I will still drive right past them to a Speedway, since they made the absurd declaration of being a friend of those who abuse us.

American companies think people have no memories.
I haven’t bought an american car since the early 70s, when the lemon law shit went down.
I haven’t done business with Sears or K Mart since the 80s and the 60 minutes report.

  • This is GREAT NEWS! Keep it up all you PATRIOTS!!! Shariabucks is a NWO globalist anti-America company….

  • Howard InSchultz is a MORON.

It feels good to say you are gonna help the “refusegees”. It’s an emotional thing with lefties but it is NOT logical or practical, but do you think he cares??

NO, it’s about the lefty just feeling good about himself. He just bought himself one of the most prestigious apartments in New York to live the rest of his life out and comfort himself with the thought that he may have helped some “refusegees”.
