(Before It's News)

We wish a very happy birthday to Terry Crowley.

He came up with the Orioles in September 1969.   Unfortunately, Terry had a hard time getting any at bats with Don Buford, Paul Blair and Frank Robinson in the outfield.   He could also play first but Boog Powell had that job.

Baltimore traded him to Cincinatti after the 1973 season and then he went to Atlanta.

He returned to Baltimore in 1976 and found his niche as a left handed pinch hitter.

He hit .317 from 1977-81 as Earl Weaver’s favorite late inning bat.     Great guy!
