Prior to dining with Senator Rubio and his wife Jeanette, President Trump, VP Pence, and Rubio met with Lilian Tinori, the wife of imprisoned Venezuelan opposition leader Leopoldo Lopez, in the Oval Office.
According to the Miami Herald, a Rubio spokesman said that Rubio asked Trump to meet with Tinori who was already in Washington meeting with the Florida congressional delegation, among other groups and individuals.

Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R), a congresswoman from south Florida, tweeted these pictures of the meeting she and other members of Congress had with Tintori.

Rep.Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D), who supports her Republican colleagues on just about everything that has to do with Cuba and Venezuela, is the only Democrat seen in the pictures.
Back to the Trump-Rubio dinner.
The POLITICO has reported that Senator Marco Rubio and his wife Jeanette dined with President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump over “light fare,” which included butternut bisque, chicken saltimbocca and tres leches cake.
While I am sure the conversation with the Trumps filled Rubio’s political appetite, the food serve did not fill his belly. The Chick-Fila-eating Senatoar was probably wondering when the plate of arroz con pollo, plantains, and black beans and rice was going to be served.
Tres Leches dessert was fine, but Rubio would have probably preferred a couple Krispy Kreme donuts
As for what was discussed at dinner, Rubio is mum about what was said.
