Trump Drains DC Swamp One Government Job At A Time

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

Republicans and Conservatives have been railing for years that the federal government is inflated with unnecessary bureaucratic jobs.

We have heard this campaign rhetoric for many election cycles, and every GOP politician has promised to cut down the size of the federal government, but nothing ever really gets done.

Enter President Donald J. Trump.

In an exclusive Fox News interview with the folks on “Fox & Friends,” Trump said that he is purposely not filling many government positions because they are not necessary.

“When I see a story about ‘Donald Trump didn’t fill hundreds and hundreds of jobs,’ it’s because, in many cases, we don’t want to fill those jobs.

Trump added:

“A lot of those jobs, I don’t want to appoint, because they’re unnecessary to have…You know, we have so many people in government, even me. I look at some of the jobs and it’s people over people over people. I say, ‘What do all these people do?’ You don’t need all those jobs.”

Aside from those critical jobs that make our government tick, Trump appears to be leaning out federal government by side-stepping many of those pork barrel jobs that have drained taxpayer dollars for decades.

Trump seems to really be draining the swamp.

“Many of those jobs I don’t want to fill,” Trump said. “I say, isn’t that a good thing? That’s not a bad thing. That’s a good thing. We’re running a very good, efficient government.”

Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign pollster Tony Fabrizio, agrees with his former boss’ actions, telling the Shark Tank that “this is yet another example of where President Trump understands average American’s feelings towards the federal bureaucracy and the elites don’t.

Fabrizio added that “voters say that the federal government is too big and tries to do too many things,” and that Trump has his hand on the pulse of the American people.

Trump is right, too many people in Washington. Donald, step up the process of draining the swamp. One or two at a time ain’t gonna cut it. Try 100 or 200 at a time. get these people off the taxpayers backs.
