http://google.com/safebrowsing/diagnostic?tpl=safari&site=theblacksphere.net&hl=en-us Black Man Tests Theory: Can Leftists Tell Black People Apart David Alan Grier might just be a genius. He recently wrote the New York Time’s Best Seller, How to Tell Black People Apart.

whoop-wayneWell he didn’t really. They just pretended that he did in a sketch comedy.
The idea is genius.

Who wouldn’t want a surefire way to decipher between Whoopi Goldberg and Little Wayne? Did you do a double-take?

And what of Chaka Kahn and Nicki Minaj?

Try this one. Can you spot the screeching bitch?!

Here is the actual video that teaches you how to follow the program:

Maybe you remember the Samuel L. Jackson debacle… He appeared on a morning talk show to promote RoboCop shortly after the Super Bowl a few years back. The anchor started listing Jackson’s accomplishments when he threw in the game commercial. Then there was that long awkward silence, followed by Jackson’s outrage. “We don’t all look alike!” Jackson told the KTLA anchor.

“I’m not Laurence Fishburne,” Jackson exclaimed! We may be black and famous, but we don’t all look alike!”

A clearly embarrassed Rubin, realizing his error, apologized and tried to steer the conversation back to the movie. But Jackson wasn’t having it.

Rubin: “Let’s talk about Robocop.”

Jackson: “Oh, hell no! Really? Really!”

Grier could solve this problem easily if he brought his book to fruition.

As Jessica Dickerson wrote:

This infomercial for David Alan Grier’s book “How To Tell Black People Apart” featured on Jimmy Kimmel Live is not only the funniest thing we’ve seen all day, but it’s also just what the world needs. In it, Grier shares the side-splitting acronym you’ll never remember: PATWWFLLM. Which stands for “Pay Attention To What We F**king Look Like Motherf**kers!!!”

The book may not be real, but the problem sure is. Hopefully Grier’s spoof is as educational as it is hilarious.

White People All Look Alike Too

As The Guardian reported,

I’ve seen The Departed twice, but I still don’t understand it. The first time I watched it, I was utterly confused, and the plot still didn’t make much sense on the second viewing. I know exactly why this is – it’s because I find it very hard to tell the difference between Leonardo DiCaprio and Matt Damon. I’ve been told that this might have something to do with the “other-race effect,” which makes it difficult for us to identify people of other races or ethnic groups. But I’m not so sure – I can easily distinguish Robert DeNiro from Jack Nicholson, or Humphrey Bogart from Cary Grant.

Nevertheless, the other race effect is a well-established phenomenon that we’ve known about for nearly a hundred years. “To the uninitiated American,” wrote Gustave Feingold in 1914, “all Asiatics look alike, while to the Asiatics, all White men look alike.”

Below are examples of white people look-alikes. See if you can spot the difference:
