Commie Pope Takes A Dump On The Real Revo

Every time I read anything from this guy, I like him a little less. Caveat emptor:

“I cannot fail to speak of the grave risks associated with the invasion of the positions of libertarian individualism at high strata of culture and in school and university education.”*

Does anyone have any idea what the Commie Pope is talking about? What universities are still teaching individual liberty? Is he delusional? I understand that he is considered by many to be a heretic and many others to not be a legitimate pope because he was ordained as a Jesuit and never formally ordained a bishop. I don’t know or really care about that. I don’t like the guy because like all tyrannical statists, he believes that the individual should be subjugated to the common good. Every reader here knows that this is simply not how we get down.

While the first half of this is partially-correct, on it’s face, he loses it as he explains his faulty reasoning. The libertarian doesn’t deny the common good, he just acknowledges that the greatest common good occurs when individuals act of their own volition, within the confining principle that respecting the rights of others, which they demand for themselves, creates a polite, respectful, and most-importantly a free society.

Our contention that this is the best means of ordering society, flies in the face of the commie pope, who believes that libertarians don’t believe in good, when in reality, our means of ordering society, creates the greatest common good and prevents tyrannical over-reach from religious (Catholic Church anyone?) and governmental institutions.

The Commie Pope continues to dig his collectivist trench, “A common characteristic of this fallacious paradigm is that it minimizes the common good, that is the idea of ‘living well’ or the ‘good life’ in the communitarian framework,”.

Did you catch that? The Commie Pope doesn’t like that our idea of ‘living well’ minimizes the common good in his “communitarian communist framework”.

Libertarianism,he says:

“…leads to the conclusion that everyone has the right to extend himself as far as his abilities allow him even at the cost of the exclusion and marginalization of the more vulnerable majority.”

You see, living as you see fit, excludes and marginalizes the “vulnerable majority”.
