Manchester jihad massacre: Police arrest three Muslims after raids in south of Manchester

This was no “lone wolf” attack. This was one battle in a long, long war. And in this war, if you don’t think that Western countries should invite in, appease, and accommodate more and more enemy combatants, you’re a racist-Islamophobic-anti-Muslim-bigot.

POLICE have arrested three men in South Manchester in connection with the attack at an Ariana Grande concert on Monday night, which killed 22 people and injured 60 others.

Three men have been arrested this morning following the horrific Manchester terror attack on Monday night.

It is believed the arrests were made in Aston Avenue, Fallowfield when Counter Terrorism Officers swooped to the scene.

Pictures have emerged of police at Aston Avenue, but police can not confirm if their presence on this street is related to the recent arrests.

Fallowfield is known to be a popular place for Manchester students to live.

Neighbours on the street have said that they saw police raids in the area on Wednesday morning at around 4am.

Greater Manchester Police carried out a controlled explosion in Fallowfield yesterday with neighbours claiming they were told to get out of their houses.

Neighbour Omar Alfakhuri said he woke up to find the street filled with police including armed officers who were shouting at the family.

He said that a wife and teenage sons were led away.

He said: “The police were not calm. They were shouting and the family were taken out one by one. The father was first.”

This follows the arrest of a 23-year-old man yesterday.

Greater Manchester Police have said: “Three men have been arrested after police executed warrants in South Manchester, in connection with the ongoing investigation into Monday night’s horrific attack at the Manchester arena. ”

Prime Minister Theresa May has raised the UK’s threat level to ‘critical’ as hundreds of troops have been deployed to the streets.

The bomber was named as Salman Abedi by the police.

France’s interior minister has said that Abedi, 22, is believed to have travelled to Syria and claimed he had “proven” links with Islamic State….
