Muslim featured in UK media condemning Manchester jihad attack BLOCKED anti-terror plan at killer’s university

Mohammed Ullah is a Muslim chaplain at two universities in Manchester, where the devout Muslim Salman Abedi murdered 22 people and injured 59 in the name of Islam at an Ariana Grande concert.

Right after that jihad massacre, Ullah was on the BBC condemning the attack. The the Express reported what he said:

“I am Manchester. I was born in Manchester, I was raised in Manchester.

“I am a proud Manc and a proud Muslim, and when Manchester hurts I hurt.

“I’m hurting after what happened on Monday.

“And what happened on Monday night was an evil act, an abhorrent act which should be condemned with the strongest condemnation.”

The Sun covered his condemnation also.

But neither the BBC, nor the Express, nor The Sun informed its audience that Ullah was instrumental in sabotaging the UK’s Prevent anti-terror scheme at Manchester University, where Salman Abedi was a student, because it “demonized Muslims.” The Daily Mail reported on his opposition to Prevent:

During a phone-in with Radio 5 Live, Mohammed Ullah, Muslim chaplain for Manchester University and Manchester Metropolitan University, said: ‘As it stands [Prevent] is a toxic brand.

‘It isolates the very people it is supposed to help. Because it turns people into spies against their own community.’

He said he had never reported anyone to Prevent but would have to do so if the situation arose because he was ‘duty bound’.

‘The Muslim community in Manchester are especially against it,’ he said. ‘We need to work with the Muslim community instead of turning them into suspects constantly.’

He didn’t turn in Salman Abedi.

And after Abedi’s jihad massacre, Ullah was in the forefront, complaining about islamofauxbia. Irish Times reported:

Mohammed Ullah (32), a Muslim chaplain at Manchester’s two universities, said that Muslims were saddened and shocked by the Manchester Arena attack but concerned about possible reprisals.

“They are fearful of a backlash or finger pointing, or people saying: ‘Well, this is to do with your people, your community, you need to do more,’” he said.

“Islamophobia is on the increase, people being abused, people being spat at. This is what we are fearful of and I think rightly so. I have seen a shift from empathy and compassion to one of blame and finger-pointing and about retribution and that is sad.”

And the Guardian:

Mohammed Ullah, Muslim chaplain at University of Manchester, said that he had heard reports of a Muslim girl being spat at and another Muslim person being told to “go home”. An arsonist attacked a mosque in Oldham, Greater Manchester, shortly after the atrocity.

“We hear reports but many people are very scared to talk about the problem or they don’t want to cause a fuss,” Ullah told the Guardian. “We receive reports but I think incidents are under-reported.”

“Islamophobic attacks have increased in the last few years exponentially,” he went on. “I tell Muslim students to report these hate incidents when they happen. Be vigilant against it and don’t allow hate to divide us.”

But that won’t stop the BBC and the rest of the UK enemedia from continuing to highlight and laud him as a “moderate.”
