Attack on Israeli Embassy in Jordan

The Muslim war on the Jews must stop. Enough. Islam must be purged of its Jew hatred and its teachings calling for annihilation of the Jews must be expunged. The Jewish State of Israel must recognized by the Muslim world.

Of course that will not happen making war inevitable – which they will lose badly.

Two Jordanians killed and Israeli injured in deadly embassy shooting as tensions escalate Two Jordanian men have been killed and an Israeli injured after a deadly shooting at the “fortress–like” Israeli embassy in Amman, local authorities have confirmed.

In a statement, police said the two men had entered the embassy to carry out furniture repairs before the shooting took place.

Jordanian police sealed off the embassy compound and deployed dozens of anti-terrorism forces following the incident.

A police statement said: “We have started a large scale investigation into the incident and ordered the prosecutor general to look at all the details.
“Initial checks suggested the two Jordanian men had entered the embassy compound as workmen.”

Tensions escalated between the two countries when Israel installed metal detectors at entry points to Al-Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem after two Israeli policemen were shot dead by three Arab-Israeli gunmen near the site on Friday.

The move sparked a series of violent clashes and led Mahmoud Abbas, the Palestinian Authority President, to halt security cooperation with Israel.

Israeli Minister for Regional Development Tzachi Hanegbi said: “They [the metal detectors] will remain.

“The murderers will never tell us how to search the murderers.

“If they [Palestinians] do not want to enter the mosque, then let them not enter the mosque.”

The Jordanians were reportedly working for a furniture company

But Israel’s public security minister Gilad Erdan called for the measures to be eased for some “regular” worshippers.

Mr Erdan instead called on officials to “avoid putting all of these [people] through metal detectors” and focus only on potential troublemakers.

Secretary General of the Arab League Ahmed Aboul Gheit said: “The Israeli government is playing with fire and risking a major crisis with the Arab and Islamic world.

“Jerusalem is a red line that Muslims and Arabs cannot allow to be crossed… and what is happening today is an attempt to impose a new reality on the Holy city.”

He added that the current Israeli policies “hurt the feelings” of the whole Muslim world not only Palestinians.

Many observers are worried that the violence will overspill into neighbouring countries in the Middle East.

Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the Turkish President, said: “No one can expect the Islamic world to remain unresponsive after the humiliation Muslims suffered with the restrictions at the Noble Sanctuary.”
