As TGP previously reported, Daniel C. Richman, a Columbia University professor from Brooklyn, went into hiding after James Comey revealed during his Senate testimony that he gave his memos on his private conversations with President Trump to a friend to leak to the press.

Richman vanished from his Henry Street digs by midday, and family members, friends and neighbors wouldn’t answer doors or phone calls to shed any more light, The New York Post reported.

Daniel C. Richman told CNN on Monday, “No memo was given to me that was marked ‘classified’. No memo was passed on to the Times.”

Richman did share the contents of one memo, he said, but “the substance of the memo passed on to the Times was not marked classified and to my knowledge remains unclassified.”
