Before they shut down the press conference, a group being described as counter-protesters were also at the conference, shouting “shame” and other phrases at Jason Kessler, including, “indict for murder now”.
The gathering public chased Jason Kessler, the individual who organized the Unite the Right rally held on Saturday, through the woods as he and police raced for a waiting car.
Reporter Doug McKelway says Antifa incited much of the violence of Saturday, and with them missing today, nothing was thrown nor anyone assaulted during this press conference.
Another white nationalist, Richard Spencer, failed to appear at the conference as promised.
