So You Say You Want a Revolution

The new Bernie Bro Book is coming out later this month:

According to publisher Henry Holt, the former Democratic presidential candidate advises young people “to fight for a progressive economic, environmental, racial and social justice agenda that creates jobs, raises wages, protects the environment and provides healthcare for all”. Wow, doesn’t that make your head spin?

If I understand the book’s format correctly it’s a graphic novel on how to complete the communist transformation of America. Originally illustrated by Barack Hussein Obama, this edition contains all new Bernie Bro graphics.

The book features helpful infographics and illustrations in the hopes of breaking down complex issues like income inequality, climate change, healthcare, law enforcement reform, prison system reform and student loan debt so that students know what they’re up against and how best to tackle these problems. – Teen Vogue

Because everyone knows that the best way to breakdown complex issues for people who don’t read real books is with “helpful infographics and illustrations.”

“The current generation of young people is the smartest, most idealistic, and least prejudiced generation in the modern history of the United States,” Sanders writes.

Or at least they’ve been told they are the “smartest, most idealistic, and least prejudiced generation in the modern history of the United States” since the minute they were born.

“This is a generation that is prepared to think big and move this country in a very different direction than we have been traveling for years.”

That’s debatable, given the recent 8 year occupation. I just hope the kids think about this whole revolution thing very carefully before launching; revolutions don’t always turn out as anticipated (e.g. Russia circa 1917, Arab Spring circa 2010) and then someone has to clean up the mess.

*sigh* Everything old is new again – and not really in a good way.
