An Example of Islam’s Fervor for the Conquest of the West

Dateline, Barcelona, Spain 2017: If you can pause for a second and step back to contemplate upon the meaning of this story from Spain and its key detail –  you will have to find that Islam is a religion of conquest at least as far as its practical effect is concerned (although it is indeed a religious expression of a militant attitude of takeover of the world). Everything that we hold dear in our innermost hearts – and for which we stand – is overshadowed by this insidious religion of war whose anti-western adherents are roaming about our neighborhoods (thanks to the intellectual betrayal of the West) and looking for a way to subdue us to their ways or – eventually – to kill us off.

Spain is turning into a lukewarm social borscht of population fragments floating around in bubbles of illusion of a democratic lifestyle where no deeper basis for life exists other than what is shown on yesterday’s newspaper headlines. Long gone are the days of prideful national unity under Franco. Today we find the final mode of living in which a petrified civilization ends its days in isolation from its roots in the countryside echoing with history. Countries of the West are surrendering their roots to the unperceiving stampedes of foreigners looking for a handout from the LEFT and for a way to impregnate the old world with the mark of their primitive conquest.

In comparison with the Muslims of the present-day, the Christians and the Jews of Antiquity who promoted their indigenous faith of the Middle East in opposition to the pagan Old West of Roman and Greek Antiquity were other-worldly, angelic humans seeking a spiritual conquest by grand inspiration through their own surrender to tortures and punishments publicly inflicted for law-breakers. The Christians especially sought an impressive path of stubborn metaphysical, spiritual and intellectual resistance to everything except force. Where they did not resist – they embraced while transforming the meaning. Where is there any sign of an intellectual force behind Islam? Where is there among Muslims a sign of a self-surrendering embrace of the world, with all things in it seen as marked by suffering to include the uncompromising enemy as well?  Instead, all we hear or see are acts of bestial violence in the name of Islam that makes the beasts in the jungles look holy and noble by comparison! We know only of a relentless series of aggressive acts under the banner of Islam for which depths of depravity, vulgarity, banality and total exploitation of people and of material opportunities by virtue of every means, including the sexual, the financial, the political and the terroristic are conducted at all times and always planned in secret.

The most astute observer ever to emerge from the classic American experience of dynamic existence, Samuel Clemens, better known as ‘Mark Twain’, arrived at certain realistic conclusions about Islam when taking a note of what the travelers have observed about the Syrian disturbances in the Turkish Empire (in 1860-1861):

“Five thousand Christians … were massacred in Damascus in 1861 by the Turks. … Narrow streets ran blood for several days, and that men, women and children were butchered indiscriminately and left to rot by hundreds all through the Christian quarter … the stench was dreadful. All the Christians who could get away fled from the city, and the Mohammedans would not defile their hands by burying the ‘infidel dogs.’ The thirst for blood extended to the high lands of Hermon and Anti-Lebanon, and in a short time twenty-five thousand more Christians were massacred. …”

Mark Twain described Jerusalem under Ottoman Muslim rule: “Rags, wretchedness, poverty and dirt, those signs and symbols that indicate the presence of Moslem rule.”

As a footnote to the 1860-1861 Mount Lebanon civil war (which Mark Twain was referring to) let us remember that the Druze and Shi’iah peasants (joined by the Kurds) rebelled against the Ottoman social status quo by attacking their own tax collectors first – and then the middle class Christians who, in panic, surrendered their self-defense weaponry to the imperial authorities to be allowed to seek government protection under the Turkish Sunni Muslim garrisons of the Ottoman Empire, as the diary of the British consul in Damascus revealed. Their weapons were taken but only a false sense of protection was granted to them, and so when the genocidal mobs of desert Muslim farmers appeared at their doors the Turkish police disappeared while the Turkish military looked on, gleeful about the slaughter of local Christians. A few ethical Turkish Muslim government officials tried to defend these sheltering Christian refugees in the name of the Sultan’s law only to be slaughtered and humiliated alongside them by these relentless Muslim mobs. The Muslim mobs have never had any sympathy even for Muslims who stood by the Christians. Moreover, during these massacres, a number of Christian women were spared from death in order to turn them into the child-bearing (Muslim-bearing) concubines of the victorious Muslim peasants, the merciless Fellaheen….Is this what we wish upon the West?

And yet, this tendency is rearing its ugly head in Spain in the 21st century!

Muslims Call for Marriage to Christian Women to ‘Strengthen’ Islam in Spain

Hundreds of posters displayed in a migrant-dominated part of Barcelona are urging Muslim men to marry Spanish women in a bid to spread Islam, and inviting members of the community to an “information meeting”.

The posters, which are derogatory about Christians but call on ‘Brothers’ to marry women of the religion to “strengthen” Islam, have been plastered through the neighbourhood of El Raval. Official data collected in 2014 found that 56.7 per cent of residents in El Raval were born abroad.

“It is permissible and encouraged that the Muslim man marries honest and chaste women who belong to the People of the Book. Even though they have distorted and altered the tradition, they are still suitable for marriage.

“Brother, enter a partnership with a Spaniard, teach her that Islam is the true religion.”

“Islamic law dictates that the fruits of this alliance will follow Islam, which will further strengthen our community,” the main body of text reads.

The posters also invite members of the community to an “information meeting” on 14 March at an Arab restaurant in the neighbourhood.

Local media reports that El Raval is a key target for Muslim supremacist groups who say followers of Islam have a “right of return” to Spain.

One such group, which boasts 40,000 ‘likes’ on Facebook, is ‘Restore sanctity in Al-Andalus’. Posting in both Spanish and Arabic, the group’s name refers to the period of Muslim rule in Spain which followed the land’s violent conquest by Islamic armies.

El Raval is recommended in a post which highlights “suitable places” for Muslims migrating to Spain to live, in the “first stage” of recreating Al-Andalus.

Referring to migrants heading way to Spain as “brothers who have begun to make their way back home”, it reads: “We exercise our right of return, Al-Andalus is our home.”

In another post, the group writes: “The fact that our roots are Andalusian, and that these lands were once home to our ancestors, fills us with determination to continue working for our right to return to be respected.”

The Gatestone Institute reported in 2014 that calls from jihadist groups to reconquer Al-Andalus were “becoming more frequent and more strident”.

According to the New York City-based think tank, many Muslims believe that all territories Muslims lost during the Christian Reconquista of Spain still rightfully belong to Islam. They claim religious law gives Muslims the right to return to the country and reestablish Islamic rule.

“It is permitted for Muslims to seek out and conquer Christian women in the service of jihad.”
