University of California, Davis Professor Denounces Science as Racist, Wants to Replace It With Feminist Science

Like math, science is inherently racist:

Sara Giordano, who left the field of neuroscience to become a Women’s Studies professor at UC-Davis, opened up about her feelings towards the sciences in a recent essay for Catalyst, a journal of feminist theory.

Science, she worries, has “earned its epistemic authority through its co-constitution with colonization and slavery,” and therefore “relies on a colonial and racialized form of power.”

I hope this revelation doesn’t lead to the law of gravity being repealed. That might cause us all to float up into outer space.

“At the root of the justification for social inequality then is Western science,” she says, claiming that science’s distinction between “humans and non-humans” has allowed “capitalism [to become] justified as a natural economic system.”

True enough, science and capitalism have worked hand in hand to create vast wealth, radically raising the standard of living for all Americans. In utopia, both will be abolished.

Giordano wants to inflict a “feminist science practice that explicitly unsticks Science from Truth.” She urges investigation into “what kinds of scientific illiteracy we might embrace to destabilize science and remake knowledge production.” If she is successful, we will “embrace an irreverent disdain for traditional science and instead practice feminist science” because we need an “anti-science, antiracist, feminist approach to knowledge production.”

By using this approach to discredit objective biological reality, she may hope to cure herself of her evident gender dysphoria.

There is a simpler solution than manufacturing feminist antiscientific knowledge. Simply affix the word “social” before most anything and it can be converted into its opposite, as has been done with the concept of justice. To the extent that social science is taught instead of science, moonbats like Giordano will be able to advance their miserable objectives.
