Robby Anderson: One More Reason to Ignore the NFL

It isn’t only Colin Kaepernick and his acolytes who are making people indifferent to who wins NFL games. They are just a symptom of the disease. New York Jets wide receiver Robby Anderson is another:

According to the Sunrise Police Department in Florida, Anderson was swerving in his Jaguar “all over the roadway and failed to maintain a single lane.” When he was finally pulled over, he demanded to speak with his lawyer and physically resisted being stuffed into the back of the cop car.

When they finally got him to the [station], he allegedly told an officer that “he was going to find my wife, f*ck her and nut in her eye.”

Give a savage $millions per year to play a game and he will still be a savage. Commissioner Roger Goodell et al could have a civilizing influence by insisting on minimal standards of behavior, but have opted to encourage bad behavior instead.

The skeeviness is not new; 20 years ago, the book Pros and Cons: The Criminals Who Play in the NFL, reported that 21% of NFL players had committed serious crimes. USA Today maintains a database of NFL player arrests that goes on for miles.

The league’s high tolerance for vermin goes hand in hand with its anti-police, pro–Black Lives Matter moonbat ideology. Both are driving away a fan base that mainly consists of regular Americans.
