Trump and Bannon Feuding?
2018 started with a bang as it appears that President Donald Trump and former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon are feuding, and it apparently stems from comments made by Bannon.
In Michael Wolff’s new book Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House, Bannon reportedly calls a 2016 meeting at Trump tower between Jared Kushner, Paul Manafort and Donald Trump, Jr. with Russians “unpatriotic” and “treasonous,” and the President did not take long to respond.
In a written statement, the President lashes out at Bannon and explains that “Steve Bannon has nothing to do with me or my Presidency. When he was fired, he not only lost his job, he lost his mind.” He also goes goes on to say that “Steve pretends to be at war with the media, which he calls the opposition party, yet he spent his time at the White House leaking false information to the media to make himself seem far more important than he was. It is the only thing he does well. Steve was rarely in a one-on-one meeting with me and only pretends to have had influence to fool a few people with no access and no clue, whom he helped write phony books.”
On twitter, Donald Trump, Jr. chimed in on the matter:
Steve had the honor of working in the White House & serving the country. Unfortunately, he squandered that privilege & turned that opportunity into a nightmare of backstabbing, harassing, leaking, lying & undermining the President. Steve is not a strategist, he is an opportunist

As a result, now the question is how this will affect the 2018 midterm elections. After leaving the Trump administration in August to return to Breitbart news, Steve Bannon assured that he would help back candidates in the 2018 midterm election that would help take down establishment politicians. But, after Judge Roy Moore’s defeat last year to Democrat Doug Jones and the tension with President Trump, it appears that candidates will be split on whether or not they should continue to align themselves with the former chief strategist.

According to what Trump has said Bannon’s appearance is very offensive to The President. Steve should never have been allowed to set foot in the Oval Office. Steve looks like a slob….and it seems that he actually is just that.
