John Mellencamp, Black Supremacist

Good grief:

Just days before the Super Bowl, John Mellencamp sank to his knees in support of the Black Lives Matter movement after performing a political ballad on the “Late Show With Stephen Colbert.”

The singer-songwriter sang the violin-and-piano dirge “Easy Target,” with the lyrics “In the street and the gutters/ The cotton fields in this land/ Here’s an easy target.” At the end, he knelt and lifted his right fist into the air.

The fist salute is a black power gesture with a communist pedigree.

This country goes out of its ways to give blacks special treatment. They are advanced often far beyond their personal capacities due to the Affirmative Action mentality, and absurdly overrepresented in advertising and other media. Presenting them in a negative light is American culture’s most stringent taboo. Only in the most preposterous of politically driven delusions are blacks in any way oppressed.

Preposterous delusions comprise reality for moonbats like John Mellencamp, who barks that kneeling in disrespect when the national anthem is performed was not political until Trump made it so by objecting to it.

Has-been performers often resort to leftist posturing in desperate attempts to revive their careers. But moonbattery is nothing new for this self-described “blue guy in a red state.” He has wallowed in it at least since 1983’s “Little Pink Houses,” which makes the list of songs that have been mistaken for patriotic but are actually anti-American. It was even used by the John Edwards presidential campaign. John McCain used it too — until his campaign got a letter from Mellencamp’s publicist that read in part:

“Are you sure you want to use his music to promote Senator McCain’s efforts? Logic says that the facts might prove to be an embarrassment, were they to be circulated widely.”

The relevant fact here is that the former Johnny Cougar is far to the left even of every Democrat’s favorite Republican.
