This is an update on what we previously posted this morning on the shooting outside a synagogue in Halle, Germany. Vlad Tepes blog has posted a short news video from Bild (Germany). There are English sub-titles as translated by Miss Piggy.

Details are still fluid and sometimes contradictory, but it appears that one shooter is in custody, described as a 27-year-old German right-wing extremist. It appears that this is a neo-Nazi style attack. It may be that earlier reports of two shooters were inaccurate.

According to CNN, police have stated that the suspect is Stephen B. (Family names of suspects in Germany are not released.)
