Two Kurdish members of Islamic State have been killed in southwestern Kirkuk, said the Kirkuk police directorate in a statement on Wednesday.
The statement revealed that Abu Ayoub al-Kurdi and Smo Pshtiwan Talabani were eliminated by the US-led coalition warplanes in Hawija, where at least six IS positions were targeted.
Abu Bara al-Mosuli, the IS commander in charge of the weapons cache in Hawija, was also killed in the airstrikes.
