Trump Appoints a Fascist Ideologue and Neoliberal/Libertarian Zionist Son of Milton Friedman as Ambassador to Israel: Meet “King” David

Donald Trump has called this a “revolution”. He’s called it a “movement” in the past. His election to office on a neoliberal platform. This is nothing new. Trump is giving voice to a feeling held by the Washington Consensus for decades. But it’s a counter revolution, aimed as resetting the United States back to the way things were during the Gilded Age of the Industrial Revolution before things like the New Deal and the Great Society ruined everything for Big Business tycoons like… Donald Trump.

His openly fascist cabinet picks, gleaned from what Trump considers the captains of industry and banking sectors, expose the lie of Trump’s candidacy. In the run-up to the election, Trump gained ground over his overtly neoliberal competition by pandering to his crowds saying he would protect Social Security and Medicare while closing the borders to the coveted cheap labor Big Business depends on for their excessive profit margins these days. While giving key positions to rabid war-mongers like his Sec. of Defense pick, Trump continues to pretend to be an anti-interventionist.

Today it has been made public that Donald Trump has chosen the son of the chosen one, Milton Friedman, to be his representative to the nation of God’s “chosen people”. “King” David Friedman is headed to Israel.

“President-elect Donald Trump will nominate bankruptcy attorney David Friedman as U.S. ambassador to Israel and Friedman said he looked forward to taking up his post in Jerusalem, a step that would reverse decades of U.S. foreign policy and spark rancor in the Muslim world.

The U.S. embassy has been located in Tel Aviv for more than 68 years. Trump had pledged during the presidential campaign to move it to Jerusalem, a move almost certain to provoke objections from Muslims around the world.” Huffington Post

David Friedman is the son of Milton Friedman, father of America’s version of neoliberalism which is the core of libertarianism, what was sold as an alternative economic ideology to people long opposed to the failing Washington Consensus. It isn’t by the way. It’s the same thing.

Making that point perfectly is this thing called David Friedman.

David Director Friedman (born February 12, 1945) is an American economist, physicist, legal scholar, and libertarian theorist. He is known for his textbook writings on microeconomics and the libertarian theory of anarcho-capitalism, which is the subject of his most popular book, The Machinery of Freedom.^[2]

David Friedman is the son of economists Rose and Milton Friedman. He graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University in 1965, with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and physics.^[4] He later earned a master’s (1967) and a Ph.D. (1971) in theoretical physics from the University of Chicago.^[5] Despite his later career, he never took a class for credit in either economics or law.^[6]

In his book The Machinery of Freedom (1973), Friedman sketched a form of anarcho-capitalism where all goods and services including law itself can be produced by the free market. This differs from the version proposed by Murray Rothbard, where a legal code would first be consented to by the parties involved in setting up the anarcho-capitalist society. Friedman advocates an incrementalist approach to achieve anarcho-capitalism by gradual privatization of areas that government is involved in, ultimately privatizing law and order itself. In the book, he states his opposition to violent anarcho-capitalist revolution.^[9]

This man is such an ideologue he actually advocates the privatization of not only law enforcement and the court system, but also of congress itself. Notice how he supports the incrementalism approach to turning our nation into the pristine fascist state he and his fellow free market zealots dream of.

Someone left me a comment yesterday talking about how I miss the point regarding the threat of Big Gubmint and the inherent freedom of choice we are given by the glorious corporations and the ideology of the free markets. His point was that with Big Gubmint, we have no choice, while all these companies taking over so many aspects of our lives (like the surveillance state for example) give us the opportunity to “opt out” so to speak. Ergo, to him, that is a better choice for us.

He concluded with the statement: “IMO, our efforts are best aimed at reducing the size and power of the State.”

To that end I would say he’s in pretty well established company. Bill Clinton was a HUGE proponent of smaller government back in the day and his efforts as president stand as testimony to that fact. So was G.H.W. Bush, a CIA man who with all likelihood helped plan and carry out the assassination of one US president and the shooting of another. The Zionist neocons also adhere to the “smaller Gubmint” ideology. Donald Rumsfeld announce just such a plan on Sept. 10th, 2001, before he hid in a secured area of the Pentagon waiting for a drone to crash into the office doing the research looking  for the 2.3 trillion dollars Big Business stole from the Department of Defense. President Obama did everything he could to privatize the Department of Education on his watch and as I have written about in the past and will write about again later this week, he did as much as he could with his “compromise” plans to bring crippling neoliberal austery measures to America including a move to undermine the stability of Social Security for the coming privatization of that Big Gubmint program as well.

All of their efforts, Aaron, have been to “reduce the size and the power of the State” and Aaron, I am proudly opposed to the economic ideology of folks like Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, Donald Rumsfeld, Milton Freidman, Dick Cheney, George H. W. Bush, the neocons from the Project of the New American Century, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, the American Legislative and Exchange Commission, the corporate Dems who took over the Democrat Party, the cabal of international banksters I call the “masters of the universe” and of course… Donald Trump.

Not only am I PROUD I oppose their fanatical economic ideology of neo-feudalism, its the CORE of what I have been doing on this website for the past nine and a half years and I will not stop.

This guy is such a cliche when it comes to wanting to return to the days of kings, serfs and fiefdoms, he actually spends a great deal of time play-acting at it, even calling himself a “king” of course.

Friedman is a longtime member of the Society for Creative Anachronism, where he is known as Duke Cariadoc of the Bow. He is known throughout the worldwide society for his articles on the philosophy of recreationism and practical historical recreations, especially those relating to the medieval Middle East.^[11] His work is compiled in the popular Cariadoc’s Miscellany.^[12] He is sometimes credited with founding the largest and longest-running SCA event, the Pennsic War; as king of the Middle Kingdom he challenged the East Kingdom, and later as king of the East accepted the challenge…and lost.^[13]

On the subject of Israel, “King” Friedman is a Zionist zealot who believes Israel should just get on with it and annex the whole of the West Bank and quit pretending there will ever be a two-state solution.

He’s been serving as Trump’s advisor to Israel for the past 8 months or so and penned a little screed of a press statement with Jason Greenblatt just prior to the election.

“… The U.S. should veto any United Nations votes that unfairly single out Israel and will work in international institutions and forums, including in our relations with the European Union, to oppose efforts to delegitimize Israel, impose discriminatory double standards against Israel, or to impose special labeling requirements on Israeli products or boycotts on Israeli goods…

The U.S. should cut off funds for the UN Human Rights Council…

The U.S. should view the effort to boycott, divest from, and sanction (BDS) Israel as inherently anti-Semitic and take strong measures, both diplomatic and legislative, to thwart actions that are intended to limit commercial relations with Israel…

The false notion that Israel is an occupier should be rejected…

A two-state solution between Israel and the Palestinians appears impossible…

Any solutions imposed on Israel by outside parties including by the United Nations Security Council, should be opposed…

Pressure should not be put on Israel to withdraw to borders that make attacks and conflict more likely…

The U.S. will recognize Jerusalem as the eternal and indivisible capital of the Jewish state and Mr. Trump’s Administration will move the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem.” David Friedman

Trump’s man in Israel, “King” David, is an abject neoliberal Zionist zealot who’s ideas of a “unified” Jerusalem fly in the face of not only common sense but also flouts international law as Zionist zealots often do.

“East Jerusalem is occupied territory. Therefore, it is subject, as is the rest of the West Bank, to the provisions of international humanitarian law that relate to occupied territory. The annexation of East Jerusalem breaches international law, which prohibits unilateral annexation. For this reason, the international community, including the United States, does not recognize the annexation of East Jerusalem.” B’Tselem

The international community regards East Jerusalem as part of Palestine as per resolution 181 (II) of 29 November 1947. Since their illegal annexation of it in 1967, Zionists has been saying a “unified” Jerusalem is the real capitol of Israel.

This insult is designed to further demoralize the Palestinian people and delegitimize their statehood. In short, they are literally trying to wipe Palestine of the map.

East Jerusalem is also the location of the Dome of the Rock which Zionists wish to tear down so they can build the Third Temple, thus signifying their ultimate victory over the Palestinians and the Muslims and some Evangelical Christian zealots consider rebuilding of the Temple to be a prerequisite to Armageddon and the Second Coming of Christ. All that lovely endtimes stuff don’t ya know.

So Trump has gifted “King” David a throne in the Holy Land. He’s a neoliberal zealot who wishes to slowly but surely privatize everything to do with Big Gubmint including cops, courts and even congress. And he wants Big Gubmint to stop folks from exposing the crimes of Israel, to oppose international law on behalf of his Likudnik friends in Tel Aviv and hasten the demolition of one of the holiest sites in all the Muslim world, replacing it with a new Jewish temple, one which foretells the end of days.

Yeah. Trump is “CHANGE” alright. “CHANGE” back to the good old days of the Knights of Malta, the rule of the East India Trading Company, mercantilism and glorious crusades to the Holy-land of Israel.

There’s your “revolution” folks. Now that Obama has done away with as habeas corpus The Donald and his aides like “King” David are working diligently to do away with the rest of Magna Carta and our constitution along with it.

It’s glorious days ahead for the Ayn Rand crowd isn’t it. Glorious days indeed.
