Amendment II – A militia for security and right for people to bear arms

The Obama administration continues its drive for absolute gun control activities, thumbing its nose at the 2nd Amendment of the Constitution.

Undermining the Militia

The statement “A well-regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a Free State, … shall not be infringed” is being undermined. The well-regulated militia is comprised of the Armed Forces of the United States (Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps), Coast Guard, and the National Guard of each state. The Obama administration is weakening the military through inadequate equipment, low pay, budget cuts, and inconsistent policies.

A few of the top active-duty brass are automatons and are “yes men” to Obama, just as the brass of the Third Reich were “yes men” to Adolf Hitler. Their careers and positions are more important to them than protecting and preserving the Constitution of the United States and their personal honor and integrity. Therefore, they have rendered themselves as “useful idiots” to the errant administration.

Obama wants to dispense with the military and replace it with a Civilian National Security Force (CNSF) with the budget and firepower equivalent to the Department of Defense (DoD). Now, why would he want to do that? Couple that with building Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) National Emergency Centers (otherwise known as concentration camps), you can surmise as to why he wants to have a CNSF reporting directly to him.

More importantly, when the Founding Fathers wrote this section of the Constitution, they also meant the minutemen and individual citizens who formed the Minutemen. It also included law enforcement agencies of each State of the Union. The private citizen and the police department law enforcement officers (LEOs) all possess the right to carry and bear guns.

UCMJ Not Uniform

On the one hand, there is a lenient policy for the commander-in-chief and general or flag officers. On the other hand, there exists another stricter policy for the fighting men and women. For example, an officer-pilot can be court-martialed and ultimately administratively discharged for committing adultery or fraternizing with enlisted personnel. However, general officers or the commander-in-chief usually escapes unscathed for the same, similar, or analogous violation of the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ). Hence, the UCMJ is not uniformly applied.

Look what is happening to Lt. Col. Terrence Lakin. Obama and his criminal Department of Justice (DoJ) are screwing him to the wall. Additionally, the DoD and Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) brass are in collusion with the corrupt, criminal Obama administration, by attempting to protect the usurper president of the United States (POTUS) and commander-in-chief (CINC). They are throwing Lt. Col. Terrence Lakin under the proverbial bus just to protect an illegal POTUS and CINC. They all fail to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States, which they swore to uphold. We have nothing but criminals running our government and military establishment. This injustice cannot and must not stand!

Fair is Fair

They should all be treated equally. What is fair is fair. Better yet, the higher the rank a person holds should have greater consequences. They should know better. If our top leaders will not set the proper example for all of those below them to emulate, how can we maintain discipline and expect better behavior from the troops?

NRA is under Attack

The statement “the right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed” is currently under heavy attack from the Left. Those who want to disarm the populace are working day and night to “demonize” the National Rifle Association (NRA). The enemies of the NRA are indiscriminately using distorted statistics to convince the public that guns kill innocent people, guns are bad, and therefore, we should outlaw guns. Remember this: liars figure and figures lie. This statement aptly characterizes these political statisticians.

I support the NRA. That is why in June 2010, I joined the NRA to show my support with my name, membership, money, and time. I encourage others to do likewise. We need the NRA to fight the usurper and his henchmen who desire to remove this right of all citizens of the United States.

It is the Bullets, Stupid

Guns do not kill people. Bullets kill people, stupid! Of course, you could club someone to death with the butt of the rifle or handgun. Outlaw bullets, and then guns will not kill people … only if bullets were not available to outlaws through the underground or black market. See how ridiculous it sounds!

Now, the ridiculous liberal democrats are attempting to do just that. Chris Cox (n.d.), NRA-ILA executive director, wrote that all gun owners are familiar with the 17th century maxim, “Keep your powder dry.” However, if we expect to be gun owners in the 21st century, we must update that to read, “Keep your powder – and all the rest of your ammunition – at all.” That’s because politicians who want to ban guns, but who don’t have the votes in Congress and state legislatures, are trying to achieve the same effect by banning the manufacture, importation, sale, and possession of as much ammunition as possible, and severely restricting the rest. Unbelievable but true.

Cox (n.d.) further stated that, in the last year, so-called “encoded” or “serialized” ammunition bills have been introduced in 13 states – Arizona, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, and Washington. Their goal: Destroy our right to keep and bear arms. All of these bills would prohibit the manufacture and sale of ammunition, unless the bullets and cartridge cases are marked with a code and registered to the owners in a computerized database.

Prohibition Failed

Remember, the 18th Amendment established Prohibition It solved nothing. The distilling of illegal liquor and selling of it in the black market only created more problems than it solved. Whenever government gets involved in these kinds of problems, matters get worse. Consequently, Prohibition was repealed by the 21st Amendment. If we outlaw guns, then only outlaws will have guns. ~ Anon.

From a Vietnam Vet and Retired Police Officer

I had a doctor’s appointment at the local Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) clinic yesterday and found out something very interesting that I would like to pass along. Before seeing the doctor, I went through triage. At the end of the exam, the nurse asked me the following three questions:

1. Did I feel stressed?
2. Did I feel threatened?
3. Did I feel like doing harm to someone?

The nurse then informed me, that if I had answered yes to any of the questions, I would have lost my concealed carry permit as it would have gone into my medical records and the VA would have reported it to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

It looks like they are going after the vets first. Other gun people, like retired law enforcement, will probably be next. Then, when they go after the civilians, what argument will they have? Be forewarned and be aware.

The Obama administration has gone on record as considering veterans and gun owners as potential terrorists. Whether a gun-owner veteran or not, I now warn you of this travesty. If you know veterans and gun owners, please pass this on to them. Be very cautious about what you say to whom you reveal information.

I Reserve the Right

I personally do not own or have a gun. However, if the following conditions prevailed, I want to maintain the legal right to obtain a gun and all of the bullets I would need:

• If we were ever attacked by a foreign enemy
• If our government is ever forcefully overthrown by the Mafia, Ku Klux Klan (KKK), clandestine right-wing militia, or any other secret combination
• If civil war breaks out
• If a military coup takes over the country
• If an amoral president decides to take over the country as a dictator

Under normal conditions, I do not approve of having a gun around the house. However, if I ever need a gun, I reserve the right to own a gun to defend family, friends, neighbors, and myself. For 42 years of our marriage, my wife opposed keeping any guns in our home. Surprisingly, three times this past year, she has suggested that perhaps we should consider buying a gun! I was shocked and flabbergasted that things have become so bad in this country that she has been motivated to think about buying a gun. These are strange times with many strange things happening at warp speed in our socialistic federal government.
