(Before It's News)

Here on the Chicks Climbing Gossip Report you can catch up on all of the great gossip (articles, videos, and other assorted cool stuff) we talked about over the past week at Chicks Climbing. SENDtember is well under way, are you enjoying some good climbing weather where you are?

It’s already starting to feel just a wee bit better in the south which is great, because in just a few weeks we will be at the Chicks Rock! Girly Gathering in the New River Gorge, Sept. 21-23 (2 days climbing) before we head up north for our Chicks Rock! Girly Gathering in the Keene Valley (Adirondacks), Oct. 5-8  which features 3 days of climbing and a showing of Reel Rock 7 Saturday night!). Finally, we are closing out the rock season in the desert at Chicks Rock! Red Rock, Nevada Oct. 18-21 (with an optional multi-pitch day Oct. 22) and are staying in the Chicks Chalet (which you can, too!) check out all the details here. If you are interested in joining us at ANY of these clinics we are still accepting registration, so please contact us ASAP with any questions! (info(at)chickswithpicks.net).

And, for those of you who are already in an ice climbing state of mind, please check out the schedule for our 2013 Chicks with Picks clinics! It’s never too soon to get it on your calendar!

Last week, I wrote a blog at Chicks about how I’ve been working on changing my attitude (and hence level of ability) about face climbing. It’s not been easy, and I still definitely prefer a good, solid crack to face climbing, BUT, major progress has been made thanks in large part to the awesome Chicks network. Find out why here!

Do you want to stay more up-to-date on the climbing news during the week? We talk about most all of these on our Twitter feed here, but also post many on Pinterest, a select few on Facebook as well as Google+. We love connecting with Chicks online, so let us know who you are – and where – and we will make sure to find you!

Did we miss any cool stuff this week in our Gossip Report?  Let us know in the comments section if you’ve got a link to some climbing-related goodies so we can share with everyone else!
