Fight the Mountain Valley Pipeline!

Over the next month a series of community meetings will be held in Virginia and West Virginia to help citizens take action to defeat the Mountain Valley Pipeline.

Come learn about the status of the fight to keep the pipeline from being built through your area, the federal government’s Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) that will determine the fate of the pipeline, and what your property rights are and why you shouldn’t take their offer for a right-of-way.

We’ll also discuss property rights for impacted landowners and other aspects of the regulatory process concerning pipeline construction, address your questions and concerns, and identify additional strategies to defeat the pipeline.

About the DEIS

The upcoming release of the environmental impact statement (expected in mid-September) will explain environmental impacts of building the pipeline. A 45-day public comment period on the draft will provide a key window during which we can point out the weaknesses of the draft and express just how great of a threat building the pipeline is to our communities and the environment.

Don’t just accept what pipeline officials tell you! Don’t just assume there is nothing you can do. Come learn the real picture and what you can do to help STOP the Mountain Valley Pipeline!
