Bringing the Dead Back to Life in Movies

There is one existing photo of Billy the Kid. We now have the technology to take that one existing photo and using computer graphic software, we will be able to determine what the back side of Billy the Kid looks like and what his side looks like. After we have a complete three dimensional view of Billy the Kid that encompasses his whole body, we will then have Billy the Kid move. The movements would start off simple, picking up a gun from the bar, walking out the saloon swinging doors and into the street.

CGI (Computer Graphic Imaging) will allow us to one day create a full length movie about the life and times of Billy the Kid using the REAL Billy the Kid playing himself, because of that one existing photo. Sounds like science fiction? Well, consider that as science fact. The only thing we would need to do next is give Billy the Kid a voice and that is where we will need a present day actor for. Computer technology is getting so high tech, our computer nerds of the world brought back Tupac as a hologram. If they could do this for Tupac, then they are able to bring back other dead musicians, such as Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison, Otis Redding, Janis Joplin and more.

We already have the technology to create full length movies, bringing other dead celebrities back, such as Marilyn Monroe, Rock Hudson, Abbott and Costello. There will be a time, when Hollywood will create their own celebrities from a computer. We will adore an ageless female actress that is nothing more than a computer generated actress. The women will scream at a Hollywood hunk that may make Sexiest Man of the Year in People Magazine, only to find out he is nothing more than a computer generated program.

My predictions for the future is that Hollywood will do all of the following:

1. Create a full length movie of Billy the Kid using CGI methods of imaging the real image of Billy the Kid from that one existing photo.
2. They will create other Western movies and gangster movies by using old photos or old news reels of famous Western lawmen, Western outlaws and gangsters of our past.
3. They will bring to life our favorite deceased actors and actresses in film.
4. They will start creating computer generated actors and actresses that will become instant celebrities.
5. Some point of time, Hollywood will find it cheaper to bring back deceased actors and actresses or using newly computer generated celebrities to star in your Summer blockbuster movies. Real actors and actresses will find themselves being used as voice overs and not really doing real acting jobs anymore.

Just like when Hollywood realized it was easier to do a reality show vs. a TV series with actors and actresses, they will one day go the route of using computers for everything, even the voice overs will some day become computerized and they won’t even need actors and actresses to do that.

This will be the future of Hollywood. My prediction.
