Special Note: Deanna was working on her video of this investigation. Her video was set with sound, pictures, video and music. Deanna’s video had a duration of 10 minutes. Her movie maker crashed and the video was lost forever in cyberspace. Deanna’s videos are exceptional, so tomorrow I will see that she gets a new movie maker program. I know Deanna’s frustration.

INITIAL REPORT
April 11, 2015 Saturday – Time to be there: 7pm. Address to be at: Oroville, CA 95965. Case of the Ax Wielding Burned Man. Contact Person: Kailey. The mother Thadra Morrow says: Hey Paul, don’t know if you remember me but I had contacted you about my daughter and grand daughter that lived in Concow. Everything up there got very bad, including her husband. She couldn’t take it anymore so she left her husband, took the kids and got the hell off that property. Now she lives in Oroville alone with the 2 kids. But my grand daughter is still seeing things in her new place. I know this usually goes away as they get older although it never did with me or my daughter. Kailey called yesterday. Emily hasn’t been able to sleep in 4 days. She says there is a man in her room with an ax and all his skin is burnt. Sounds like the same one from Concow followed her. Kailey’s ex husband was the reason you guys never got to go up there. Now shes alone and worried about Emily. Can you help her? Even if its just talking to her to tell her what to do for Emily. I would appreciate it. I cant stand her being scared all the time. Plus now Kailey says Emily’s mood and attitude is changing. She mean ALL THE TIME. Shes only 5, almost 6. She can use your help. Her number is xxxxxxx. Thanks

THE HAUNTING MAY HAVE ORIGINATED FROM CONCOW, CA
CONCOW’S HISTORY:
The following spring three young children were attacked with the two boys killed and the kidnapped girl escaping after being forced to walk to a village near present day Concow in what became known as the Pence massacre, the murders were within the present day Concow CDP and 9 miles from Concow Valley – the KonKow people were blamed. These events happened amid documented incidences of local whites dressing as ‘Indians’ and committing crimes and numerous mule-trains that were attacked and plundered by the various sierra peoples; indigenous, Spanish, and whites. All indications are that the children were kidnapped by a small group of native young men. In the following days 611 KonKow people were murdered by a vigilante volunteer posse of 500 white men that sought to kill every non-white in Butte County. M.H. Wells hid 50 Kon Kows in his Yankee Hill store in the foothills above the camp at Bidwell’s old river crossing; the vigilante group discovered these people.

In a compromise the vigilantes inspected these people and determined four as ‘bad people,’ they were tied together in pairs and given a running start before the vigilantes opened fire, the rest were taken to the camp – two of the four were shot and killed. Under a resolution passed at a mass meeting of the public at Pence Ranch on July 27, a group of 12 lead by Thomas McDonald of Cherokee and M.H. Wells of Yankee Hill found and convinced the remaining people in the surrounding area to go to the Bidwell camp for their own safety. A group of 26 lead by G.G. Marquis of Concow, including Mr. Pence from Messilla Valley, B.P. Hutchinson from Cherokee Flat and John Chapman from Cherokee Ravine, gathered funds to cover the expenses for the Kon Kow peoples removal. Eventually 461 people including those who returned from Round Valley were gathered at Bidwell’s Landing. From this group, for the kidnapping and killing of the Lewis children, two were tied to a tree and executed by firing squad. The local US government representative Major George M. Hanson, Superintendent of Indian Affairs, Northern California, and the State Militia representative Captain Augustus W. Starr sent July 31 to assess the situation were unsure what to do with the popular movement or how to stop the acts of vigilante justice. The subsequent commanders of Camp Bidwell during the month of August, Captain Alfred Morton and then Major Ambrose E. Hooker – are absent in early correspondence from Captain Starr asking for guidance with the increasing number of Konkow ‘prisoners of war’.

THE INVESTIGATION MAY HAVE ORIGINATED FROM THE TRAIL OF TEARS
TRAIL OF TEARS HISTORY:
The Trail of Tears commonly refers to a series of forced relocations of Native American nations in the United States following the Indian Removal Act of 1830. The removal included members of the Cherokee, Muscogee, Seminole, Chickasaw, and Choctaw nations, some of whom chose not to assimilate with American society, from their ancestral homelands in the southeastern U.S. to an area west of the Mississippi River that had been designated as Indian Territory. Some Native Americans who chose to stay and assimilate were allowed to become citizens in their states and of the U.S. The phrase “Trail of Tears” originated from a description of the removal of the Choctaw Nation in 1831.

Many Native Americans suffered from exposure, disease, and starvation while going on the route to their destinations, many died, around 2,000-6,000 of the 16,543 relocated Cherokee. European Americans and African American freedmen and slaves also participated in the Chickasaw, Choctaw, Muscogee Creek, and Seminole relocations.

KAILEY SAYS IN HER OWN WORDS:
“It all started back in 2010, when my family and myself moved to Concow, California. My daughter was about two years old, my son was about nine months old. We moved to a campground that is well known to the Maidu Indians. The location where my trailer was parked was known as the Trail of Tears where the white people would behead the Indians, about 5 months goes by, my daughter started having severe nightmares. One night I felt a presence I looked at the bottom of my bed and she was on her knees, speaking an unknown language. Her eyes were black as night(she has sky blue eyes). Then there was a little girl about 5, that had got swept into the lake, I would see her try to bring my daughter down to the water. So we ended up moving when we found my brother-in-law dead on his property, when that happened we ended up inheriting the property. When we got there it was fine at first. Then it started where my daughter would wake up screaming with nightmares. One night my ex-husband woke up and looked at me and I was levitating at least a foot off my bed. I was completely blue. The anger would get worse by the days. I feel I am a sensitive and I would see my brother-in-law all the time, about 4 months after he died I found out he had murdered somebody on the property. I wasn’t shocked I knew something had happened before it got worse. The energy was going through my husband he would be in so much rage and was very mentally abusive to me. I am now for the past four months a single mom, because I couldn’t take the mental abuse I am still going through a lot of problems. I’m always tired, hot, angry and confused. I feel alone like I have nowhere to turn to for help. I am in hope that Paul and his team will help my family become at ease.”

Special Note: Deanna picked up the fact that Kailey is indeed a sensitive and that one of the entities drains the energy from her. I learned from the family that a mahogany mirror was lifted up in the air and was thrown at Kailey’s mother. Kailey’s daughter has seen her deceased great grandmother. Kailey says at one time the dishes from the kitchen shelf and the shelf itself was thrown at her by an unseen force. The deceased grandmother seems to be the protective spirit of the family, while the burned man with an ax is the destructive entity. The burned man actually comes up through the floor boards and has terrorized the family.

THE INVESTIGATION:
During the investigation we made many EVP attempts and finally captured a woman’s voice saying: “I am here” and later another EVP of a man saying “wow”. We did capture some unintelligible voices on the recorder, that fall into Class C category, while the ‘I am here’ and ‘wow’ EVPs fall into Class A category. In a couple of our photos we did capture some unusual shadow activity. With the 2 Class A EVPs, I would deem this place as haunted.

THE CLEANSING:
Deanna conducted a metaphysical cleansing with Eagle feather and sage. I conducted a Roman Catholic house blessing with holy water and wooden cross. After the cleansing, the home felt lighter.

Wow, just wanted to say I enjoyed your article “Interdimensional Incidents”. I shared this with my son, whom years ago, we were traveling from Louisiana to Texas to visit family and somehow showed up one and half hour earlier than we should had. We’ve talked about it from time to time about whether we had somehow encountered a worm hole or what.

Another time, I was sitting with my sis at her doc’s office in Waco, TX. A tall lady came in and whether it was with her somehow, I don’t know. It was as if I sensed it jumping from her. But, what I seen running towards me was this weasel looking creature, like it was half in our world and half not. It ran straight for me. I even remember in reflex, picking up my feet as it ran right under me through the wall and disappeared. I was totally speechless at the time. I believe most things that we do see of the paranormal are in fact some kind of dimensional creatures.
