Ya’alon: Russia’s S-300 deal with Iran is ‘direct result of Lausanne agreement’
Russia’s decision to lift a ban on the sale of the advanced S-300 air defense system to Iran is a “direct result of the framework agreement reached in Lausanne,” Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon said Tuesday, referring to the recent nuclear agreement between the P5+1 and Tehran.
Israel: Iran steps up arms shipments to Hezbollah, Hamas
Israel warns: “Iran is acting in recent days and weeks to prepare and arm Hezbollah for conflict with Israel, on a large scale.”
Iran grows bold and who can blame them as they have made a mockery out of the Obama administrations negotiations, the proof of this being Iran’s shipping of arms to Hezbollah and HAMAS. Putin, never missing a good chess move, has also upped the ante by the sale of the S-300 missile system to the Iranians. This is a major game-changer in the region as Israel has little choice at this point, she must cut the heads off the snakes that pose a direct existential threat to her.
Let’s face what is happening “over there.” Israel is surrounded by those who want to wipe her off the map. Hezbollah in the North, Hamas in the South, Iran in the east and ISIL, at the Jordanian border.

The sale of this weapon to the Iranians allows the Iranians to shoot down Israeli war planes that might attack their reactors. As Netanyahu has stated numerous times, Once Iran gets the bomb they will use it. No one in the Middle East will be safe and all of Israel will be targeted.

I posted a blog here years ago stating that Obama would do nothing in the way of helping Israel when the war broke out, that he would stand down. I stand by those words and I believe Obama’s actions with his recent “tampering” in the Israeli elections—by sending a team to defeat Netanyahu—is a wake up call.
Israel will have to go it alone in the coming months. The question is will she strike first? If she does she must take out all of her enemies at the same time. This is WWIII and it would appear we are heading toward it at record speed.

If Israel strikes she will expand her territory, which is what Salus and others posit will happen. Tenuous times? You bet!

should we point out that the s300 is a defensive weapon not offensive. If I had a nuclear capable belligerent neighbor like isreal I would want to defend myself as well.
