Mystery Creature Washes Ashore in Australia (Video)

An Australian man walking along a beach stumbled upon the remains of a bizarre-looking creature that is truly the stuff of nightmares.

The monstrous discovery, which measures nearly five feet long, was made by a man named Justin Hill in the Australian town of Emu Park.

He theorized that the creature was some kind of shark and posted an image of his odd find on Facebook to see if anyone could confirm his suspicions.

As is often the case, the photo only seemed to spark a debate as many observers argued that the creature was, in fact, a seal.

However, one area fisherman insisted that the beast is, indeed, a shark, noting that the gills and flipper were dead giveaways for ‘fishy’ identity of the creature.

Whether that convinces those in the ‘seal camp,’ remains to be seen, but one would assume that everyone agrees that they’d rather not run into the creature during a visit to the beach.
