By actual definition you describe the name of the star in our solar system is Sol. Sun is a generic name for the central star in a solar system. Jupiter has in the past been designated as a class 1 star. School text books how ever were never upgraded. So, if Nibiru does exist we may be living in a trimary system. If you are worried about the use of LED lights connected to the power grid you can go off grid with your lighting only. LED emitters are currently available that produce 200 lumens per watt. A 100 watt solar panel and a car battery could supply enough power to produce nearly 10,000 lumens of light continuously for 12 hours a day or about 5000 lumens of light 24 hours a day. I would double that due to cloudy days.
Better yet. Use the grid to charge the car battery and run the LEDs off the charged battery for just about any amount of light you want. The car battery will supply pure direct current (no modulation) to the LEDs.

Each one runs on a small fraction of a watt so about 12 of these will produce the equivalent light of a 40 watt incandescent bulb but consume about 3 watts if you engineer your home made 12 volt light bulb correctly. These emitters are rated for 50,000 hours life span or over 5 years of continuous use if operated within the manufacturers specifications.
All of the LED light bulbs I have seen in stores to replace the screw in incandescent lights have lifespan ratings based on 3 hours of use a day (read the fine print). Based on that rating these emitters are good for about 45 years.
