Obama Gets Cold Reception During Speech In Penn, Faces Blank Stares And Silence…
(The Daily Caller) – President Barack Obama ventured Wednesday to a mostly blue-collar region of the United States and tried to engage an audience that was cold to him.
The 15 community college students who were picked to stand immediately behind the president, and in view of the TV cameras, mostly stood stone-faced through his speech.
At the end, when the president walked back from the podium to smile and wave at the roughly 60 people in the bleachers 20 feet behind him, he faced a unfriendly wall of faces.
The White House video of the bleacher’s front rank shows three men with their hands crossed, one with his hands stuck in his pockets and one who let his arms fall by his sides.
Obama flew to the Community College of Allegheny County, in Oakdale, Pa., so he could tout a new spending program that is intended to encourage technical training at community colleges.

If you’re going to make a case or report a story worthy of being called “the news” it should not be a bunch of segments of film footage cut and spliced to make it appear to support “your” story. News is something that occurs and a good reporter conveys to the masses by gathering all the facts possible and presenting them in an unbiased manner. This is no better than what CBS, NBC, ABC or CNN do on a daily basis. It is a well established fact that I am no supporter of the current political structure, but, neither am I a supporter of biased news making and trickery. Doing things like this does more to hurt a cause than it does to support it. Report a news story the next time you actually have one.

Pure speculation, but you are entitled to your opinion. I really couldn’t tell as the film footage was so heavily cut. There may have been much smiling and laughter but it was cut so heavily, who could tell. You certainly could hear the beginning of laughter and applause but as soon as it started the footage was cut. To me that is no better than walking up to me and telling me a lie. Now show me an unedited speech where everyone is stone faced, all of Obama’s jokes fall flat and he receives no applause, then you have a story.

If no one in the U.S. has money to get repairs done on their home, if no one owns their home, if no one buys a new home because they are so strapped that they can’t buy groceries – what good did it do to train an additional 30-million workers?
