Hillary Clinton: ‘It’s just those old conspiracy guys sticking the fork into me again’

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

Spin, spin, spin. Telling Chuck Todd how the State Department and her E-mail worked. Chuck being the patsy that he is doesn’t bear down. Still, Hillary managed to dig into her vault of blame the other guy, pulls it out one more time. Hillary we are really getting sick of this.

Facing a barrage of questions Sunday morning from Meet The Press anchor Chuck Todd, Hillary Clinton brought back an old tactic from the Clinton playbook: blame the messenger.

The Democrat facing an onslaught of investigations into her use of private email during her tenure as secretary of state referred to concerns she tried to avoid oversight and may have compromised the security of classified information as a “conspiracy theory.”

“Another conspiracy theory?” Clinton said, exasperated by Todd’s repeated inquiries into why she felt the need to go around the government system for record-keeping.

Clinton referred to the notion as “totally ridiculous,” then turned to portray the scandal, which the FBI is currently investigating, as a partisan attack on her.

“You might remember during the ’90s, there was a bunch of them and, you know, all of them turned out to be not true,” Clinton said.

Clinton took it a step further, asserting she has taken steps no other government figure ever has in an effort to be open with the American people.

“There’s only so much I can control,” she said, claiming she has been “as transparent as possible” regarding her private server.

Clinton boasted that despite a “barrage of attacks” on her character from Republicans, she still won her race to become senator in New York. She made the case that Americans will still vote for her despite the Republican machine working against her. More at the Free Beacon
