Obama: Globalism is the Solution

There should be plenty of concern when the supposed leader of the free world believes that Globalism is the answer to every single problem in the planet. There should be even more concern, when the so-called leader of the most powerful country in the world acts as if handing over sovereignty and liberty into the hands of tyrants is the only way to end the madness that rules over the planet today. According to the current American president, Barack Obama, issues such as terrorism, racism, nationalism as well as religious and cultural differences, which he also understands as problems, must be dealt with by imposing the will of Globalism. Obama does not have any faith on any western value, or a sum of them, to take care of the problems that affect the world today. From politics, economics, from terrorism to what he calls “chronic violence”, everything, says Obama, has a common solution: employing globalist policies to end any of those problems. According to Obama, most of the current examples of violence that affect the US and the rest of the world stems from a competition between social groups, religious groups and national solidarities. What he implies is that conflict arises from the fact that people want to have a country to call home, with borders and a nationality. He implies that violence in his country is a result of having freedom of religion, of movement, privacy and the right to defend oneself and loved ones. “The divide … is between people who recognize the common humanity of all people and are willing to build [international] institutions that promote that common humanity, and those who do not,” said Obama to a group of Ambassadors on July 15. According to the US president, holding religious beliefs, cultural values and nationalistic interests is wrong, and must be ended, because it implies that people feel superior to others. “…those impulses [for solidarity] exist in all our countries.  And those impulses, when we do not speak out against them and build strong institutions to protect people from those impulses, they can take over, they can be unleashed,” continued Obama during his speech. For Obama having the ability to worship whoever an individual wants, choosing who to do business with, defending yourself, compromising in a voluntary way and many other actions that up until today are understood as part of a person’s life, are signs of racism or a complex of superiority; an impulse that must be suppressed by international organizations who should hold the power to dictate what people can do and what they cannot do. Throughout his presidency, Obama has not only refused to call terrorists Islamic extremists, but has also attacked other faiths and social groups, alleging that social “tribes” are a cause for division. For Obama, “Islam is a religion that teaches peace and justice and compassion.” As the world has found out in the first half of 2016, radical Islam, a movement that takes its orders from its religious teachings, Islam is hardly a religion of peace. In fact, not one single Islamic religious leader has publicly and forcefully called for the end of terrorist attacks perpetrated in the name of Islam. As Barack Obama blames everyone else but radical Islam for the current wave of terrorism -even though radicals have continuously claimed responsibility for the attacks in Europe and the United States- the US president can be held responsible for attacks on innocent men, women and children who are followers of Islam and Christianity alike. As per his actions over the past seven and a half years, Obama has demonstrated his affinity for Globalism in the same fashion as his predecessors did. There was no hope for change on that. He has continued the same agenda that George W. Bush and Bill Clinton followed during their administrations; all of which empower unelected bureaucrats while eroding national institutions. Under Obama and his international accomplices in Europe, Asia and Latin America, bilateralism and trilateralism were abandoned to adopt Globalism, or government by of and for the global Elite. According to Obama, Globalism and only Globalism is the key to successfully dealing with lack of peace and instability. While Obama says he stands behind traditional values, freedom of speech and of religion, the rule of law and everything that has helped built the West, in practice, Obama has done quite the opposite. He is against nation-States and their independence to decide for themselves. He is against maintaining a nation’s values and culture as he promotes and pushes for open borders and massive waves of immigration that, as we have all seen, cause social unrest, crime and balkanization. Obama is an interventionist. His government supported terrorists in Libya and Syria. His former Secretary of State, Hillary Rodham Clinton, aided terrorist groups and governments like Saudi Arabia, that sponsored them. His Nobel Peace Prize Award was a blow to those who truly yearn for peace and a spit on the face to those who have been murdered in all US-led wars. As anyone who is awake knows, Globalism is far from being the solution to any of the problems the world experiences today. In fact, in many respects, Globalism is the root of those problems.
