Friday LOL: Jimmy Kimmel Hilariously Censors Obama During Speeches

Late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel loves to do a bit on his show, where he takes clips of speeches, reports, et al, and bleeps them at unnecessary times to create the illusion that people were saying dirty things. It’s a pretty funny way to take a very serious report, or speech, and make it into something completely inappropriate and comical.

Last night’s target was President Obama, and Kimmel set it up perfectly.

“President Obama…has been cutting loose a little bit lately,” said Kimmel to his audience. “He sat down for an interview with Vanity Fair in which he admits that he curses a lot. He says he uses more foul language than he probably should.”

“Obama says his staff often hears him going on these profanity laced tirades,” continued Kimmel. “Unfortunately, we don’t get to hear those profanity laced tirades. So tonight, to get a taste of what it’s like, we went through the past eight years of bleeps and blurs, and we put together this all Obama edition of this week in unnecessary censorship.”

What followed was nothing short of hysterical.

On another note, I would love to be a fly on the wall during one of Obama’s “profanity laced tirades.” It obviously doesn’t take much to rile our commander in chief, but I imagine hearing him go on a cuss word cacophony would be something of an actual pleasure to listen to.
