WATCH: Trump Surrogate Voices Cult-Like Vision For Enemies of President Trump

Literally, one of my favorite passages from the Bible. King Jesus is given the highest honor, and he is the only one deserving of such reverence.

You can imagine my horror when I hear one reality TV nightmare referring to our national reality TV nightmare in eerily similar terms.

Did that cause something cold and rancid to drop in the pit of your stomach? Did bile raise to the back of your tongue? Did you do like me, drop your head, close your eyes, and say, “Come Lord Jesus, Come”?

Let’s just put aside the very real sense of cult-like devotion in this video, where she breathlessly refers to Trump in a way that suggests he’s more than just a politician. He is a spiritual figure. He is tutelary, all powerful, supreme.

Omarosa has lost the sense of what it is to be in a free republic, where public dissent is allowed. There are winners and losers in elections, but no conquering kings.

We don’t “bow down” to presidents. We are free to criticize, continue to challenge, and even question the sanity of our representatives, whether they win or lose.

It is truly blood-chilling to hear one of Trump’s surrogates speak of this corrupt man in such a way as to suggest that should he win the White House in November, it will be a time for revenge on his political enemies.

We’ve never seen a time like this in our nation’s short history. What she was saying was not her unique way of expressing her admiration for Donald Trump. Many of his supporters have that same, cultish allegiance, believing he was divinely sent to fix all of our nation’s problems.

I have given this election to God, in that I won’t worry about myself or what will happen on November 9, 2016, but I will continue to sound the alarm, and I will continue to pray for the soul of this nation.
