Back in 1996, hapless GOP presidential candidate and go-along-to-get-along Senator Bob Dole couldn’t understand why, given the steady drumbeat of scandal emanating from the Clinton-Gore White House that he was still being beaten like rented mule in the polls
Listing a string of questionable practices by the Administration, including accepting what he called laundered cash from foreigners and obtaining confidential F.B.I. files, Mr. Dole demanded repeatedly in Houston earlier in the day, ”Where is the outrage?”
Appearing at downtown performing arts center, where he stood before a giant mural depicting the glory days of the Lone Star State, Mr. Dole continued: ”Can you imagine former President Bush doing one of those things? No! And you never imagine Bob Dole doing one of those things either. So where’s the outrage? Where’s the outrage? When will the voters start to focus?”
Now Hillary Clinton has turned in a performance that will go down in the annals of “worst moments ever for a political candidate”
Hillary Clinton addressed the Laborers’ International Union of North America Wednesday via teleconference, in a clip that surfaced online Thursday. But despite sitting in a dark room by herself, Clinton maintained the volume and tone she might use for a packed campaign rally. The result was… well, see for yourself.
“Now having said all this, why aren’t I 50 points ahead, you might ask,” she shouted in one particular animated moment. “Well, the choice for working families has never been clearer.”
I have to admit being stunned by this. At first blush I took it to be a clever parody. Then I started trying to decide what she sounded like. Was it like your drunk first wife when you came home smelling of whiskey, cheap perfume, and bodily fluids? Or an android that had been programmed to imitate human emotion and “anger” had been randomly selected? Or is this Hillary Clinton trying out her “angry blue collar” accent with the same comical effect as her “black” accent.
Regardless, her frustration with this campaign and with Donald Trump is evident but FoxNews, helpfully, provided her some clues:

As you might expect, Twitter was active, like

Hillary is showing the same remarkable reverse-Midas touch as a candidate that she did in every other position. She can take gold, and with a mere touch of her finger turn it into a steaming fecal mountain. She may win the presidency but it will not be due to anything she did.
