(Before It's News)

“Don’t interrupt me while I’m interrupting.”

It’s one of those famous Winston Churchill quotes, and it applies nicely to last night’s vice presidential debate.

Sen. Tim Kaine came in with an obvious strategy to rudely interrupt Gov. Mike Pence every chance he got. Democrats love pulling this kind of tactical nonsense during debates — for example, Al Gore’s stagey sighing against George W. Bush and Joe Biden’s demented laughter while Paul Ryan spoke — since they don’t respect Americans and aren’t interested in giving them a fair hearing between the candidates.

I was a little concerned at first that Pence was going to try to be too “above it,” but he thankfully began some doing some interrupting himself so he could at least get a few points in. Once Kaine got some of his own medicine, he seemed to behave himself a little better.
