(Before It's News)

Never ones to say die, the Hillary Clinton campaign said Saturday that they will back and support the recount efforts in a few key states.

This latest is just another example of how Clinton supporters, after months of insisting during the campaign when it looked like Hillary Clinton was a lock in for winning the presidency, that Donald Trump and his supporters *must* accept the election results and stop crying rigged, are complete hypocrites when they’re on the losing end.

The Clinton campaign had stayed mum on the issue of possible voter machine hacking, as was reported earlier this week. The campaign’s counsel, Marc Elias, has also admitted that they have been doing their own investigation and have turned up no evidence of there being any tampering with election results. According to CNN:

Elias said the campaign had been quietly investigating accusations for a while and had received hundreds of requests that it do so.
“Because we had not uncovered any actionable evidence of hacking or outside attempts to alter the voting technology, we had not planned to exercise this option ourselves, but now that a recount has been initiated in Wisconsin, we intend to participate in order to ensure the process proceeds in a manner that is fair to all sides,” Elias wrote on Medium.
“If Jill Stein follows through as she has promised and pursues recounts in Pennsylvania and Michigan, we will take the same approach in those states as well,” he added.
No evidence. No inclination to pursue it alone. But if Jill Stein, who has bilked millions from disgruntled Americans in the last week, is going to do it, why not!
It’s no surprise to anyone that the Clinton campaign would sign on to such a ridiculous and undermining effort. As Dan Spencer wrote here earlier, Wisconsin now stands to possibly lose its ten electoral votes not counting at all if they cannot certify the results of the recount by December 13th.
These efforts are predicted to be a huge waste of time and will likely only serve to reinforce the election results. Something Hillary and her people likely know. But never say liberals never saw a false hope money maker they didn’t like.
