Election Day Freebies; Your Rewards Await

You’ve waited, watched, listened and tomorrow you will finally get to cast your vote, some brands are showing appreciation for your tenacity by offering Freebies, Perks and Deals.  Make sure to grab your “I Voted” sticker to take advantage of some of the fun rewards for your performing your civic duty.

Krispy Kreme is offering you a free donut, FireHouse Subs will give you a drink to go along with your post voting lunch. While some Gold’s Gym locations are inviting you to come in and work off that election day stress for free.  Live near one of the Hard Rock Cafes? They’re offering free desserts to their election day customers.

Some may complain these brands are “exploiting” the media surrounding the election, to which I would respond: Good for them! More importantly, good for us! We’ve earned a little love after the abuse we’ve all taken this cycle.

Keep your sugar high going all day long with more free sweets on Election Day. Get one free cookie from Great American Cookies on Nov. 8 if you’re wearing your “I Voted” sticker.

Tijuana Flats

Tex-Mex chain Tijuana Flats is rewarding you with one free, small side if you “guac” the vote on Nov. 8. In order to get your freebie, you’ll need to be wearing your “I Voted” sticker.

7-Eleven

Get your caffeine fix for $1 on Election Day at 7-Eleven. The convenience store chain is offering $1 coffee on Nov. 8 if you have the 7Rewards app.

World of Beer

Celebrate Election Day with $1 beer at World of Beer. The chain will give you your first beer on Nov. 8 for only $1. Win or lose, you can still booze.

All About Burger

Is there anything more American than a delicious, greasy burger? On Nov. 8, All About Burger will hook you up with one free burger or chicken sandwich if you show up with an “I Voted” sticker.

California Tortilla

Reward yourself for voting with free chips and queso. On Nov. 8, California Tortilla will give you free chips and queso with any purchase if you say one of their secret passwords: “I’m with queso!” “Make queso great again!” or “I vote for queso!”

It’s not just about the food either. In Philadelphia, Uber and Lyft are offering free rides to those headed to the polls on Tuesday.  If you’re in Boston, you can enjoy discounted cocktails, appetizers and more just for flashing your “I Voted” sticker.

Some companies are going even further by offering employees the day off or free child care so they can hit the polling stations.  Some companies will actually be closed on election day.  This is fantastic news, as you’ll need that sticker to get all the cool things being offered as an appeasement.

These are literally just the beginning. Check your local groupon and facebook pages to find more offers in your area.  Finally, You have a reason to feel like Your vote matters.  Take advantage America, it doesn’t happen often.
