Hilarious Anti-Trump Meltdown Lands Loony Leftist in the Psych Ward

Anyone who has read anything I’ve written on the subject knows I’m no fan of Donald Trump, but some reactions to his election are simply insane. Ever since Trump won, it seems like you can’t swing a dead hippie without hitting at least one delirious leftist in mid-meltdown, but some really stand out and raise pant-wetting outrage to an artform.

Enter Kevin Allred.

Allred’s backstory reads like a character sketch for an episode of Portlandia. Even his name seems made up. Allred. All red, with a yellow hammer and sickle.

In 2010, Kevin created Politicizing Beyoncé – an innovative interdisciplinary college course that attempts to think through contemporary U.S. society and its current race, gender, class, and sexual politics by analyzing the music and career of Beyoncé Knowles-Carter through the lens of historical and contemporary black feminist texts. Since its inception, Politicizing Beyoncé has evolved to include community classroom events at schools and community spaces nationally and internationally, all facilitated by Kevin.

Kevin is currently turning Politicizing Beyoncé into a nonfiction book, and his teaching continues to garner widespread attention. His academic credentials include a Bachelor’s of Science and Master’s of Arts both in American Studies, plus a Master’s of Philosophy in Women’s and Gender Studies.

Kevin had a Twitter conniption yesterday that earned him a visit from police and a trip to the psych ward.

NYPD just came to my house bc Rutgers Police told them i’m a threat based on political statements i’ve made on campus and on twitter.
