I’m no fan of Steve Bannon or the pesthole known as Breitbart.com but just because I neither like nor respect him is no reason to let the left have open season on him when he is 100% right… or maybe even engaging in understatement.
On Monday night, one of the no-talent hacks that are now billed as “comedians”, some guy named Seth Myers, had this to say about Bannon and Breitbart:
“And just to give you a sense of how extreme Breitbart is, the website … compared Planned Parenthood’s work to the Holocaust.”
Playing monkey-see-monkey-do, MSNBC jumped on the bandwagon
“Before joining the campaign in August, Bannon led Breitbart News which has compared Planned Parenthood’s work to the Holocaust.”
In the era of Roe vs. Wade, at least 54 million babies have been murdered in utero. A not insignificant number, well in excess of 7 million, have been carried out by Planned Parenthood. If one looks at the total number of victims of the Nazis from the US Holocaust Museum you get this:
Jews: up to 6 million
Soviet civilians: around 7 million (including 1.3 Soviet Jewish civilians, who are included in the 6 million figure for Jews)
Soviet prisoners of war: around 3 million (including about 50,000 Jewish soldiers)
Non-Jewish Polish civilians: around 1.8 million (including between 50,000 and 100,000 members of the Polish elites)
Serb civilians (on the territory of Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina): 312,000
People with disabilities living in institutions: up to 250,000
Roma (Gypsies): 196,000–220,000
Jehovah’s Witnesses: Around 1,900
Repeat criminal offenders and so-called asocials: at least 70,000
German political opponents and resistance activists in Axis-occupied territory: undetermined
Homosexuals: hundreds, possibly thousands (possibly also counted in part under the 70,000 repeat criminal offenders and so-called asocials noted above)
It is no great stretch to compare the carnage inflicted by the brutal pseudo-humans employed by Planned Parenthood to the Holocaust. If one uses the more restrictive metric of deaths in death or labor camps then Planned Parenthood’s body count easily exceeds that of the Nazis. If one looks at the total number of abortions, Hitler, Hirohito and Stalin would have all been green with envy.
There is a lot to criticize Steve Bannon and Breitbart News about but their characterization of Planned Parenthood is not one those items.
